In each investment opportunity, SmartCrowd limits maximum ownership to 24.99% in order to ensure no individual owns a majority interest. However, the total amount that a user can invest in the platform depends on the type of investor you are: a retail investor or professional investor.

As a Retail client, you are restricted to invest $50,000 (AED 183,649.50) in a single property at a time. Meaning, if you make a deposit of AED 200,000 - you may disperse that into the available properties on our platform, and will not be permitted to make that full investment into one property.

Additionally, Retail clients are also restricted to invest a maximum of $100,000 (AED 367,277.00) in a calendar year.
